When I began studying at Fine Arts school in Geneva, two very good artist friends, Véro and Michel, encouraged me to keep a notebook with all my ideas and the sketches behind my art work. Between 1981 and 1999, I produced 39 such notebooks. The following are extracts from some photos, collages, diagrams and texts those three thousand seven hundred pages.
